Hello, today I want to tell you about my second expedition in search of fungal flora in southern Chile. I love exploring nature and discovering new fungi, and this time I had an amazing experience. Southern Chile is a magical place for mushroom lovers. The humidity and vegetation create a perfect environment for many varieties of mushrooms to grow. I walked for hours on trails filled with tall trees and green ferns. The air was fresh and felt very clean. I enjoyed listening to the sound of the birds and the crunching of the leaves under my feet.

After a while, I saw my first mushroom of the day. It was a Pluteus hubergtseorum. This mushroom is very pretty, with its light brown cap and lamellae. I looked at it closely and took several pictures. I was very happy to have found it so quickly. I kept walking and soon after, I found another mushroom. This time it was a mushroom called "angel wing". This mushroom is very special and quite well known. It has a very pure white color and a shape that really looks like a wing. It grows on dead tree trunks, and this one was on a moss-covered log. I crouched down to get a closer look and also took some photos. I love the delicacy of this mushroom and how beautiful it looks in the forest.

The expedition continued with this group of people with whom we chose to get together to go out in search of new ones where you not only share finding species, but also share new information among amateurs. One of the most interesting I saw was the meadow hygrophorus. This fungus is quite common in meadows and has a pale yellow cap. What I like most about this fungus is its texture, a bit slimy, but very interesting to the touch. I took notes on its location and what it looked like, so I could remember all the details later.

As I drove along, we stopped for lunch. I took a sandwich and a bottle of water out of my backpack, and sat down on a rock. From there, I could see the whole landscape and enjoy the sound of the nearby river. It was a very peaceful and comforting moment. After lunch, I felt refreshed and ready to continue exploring.

The forest was full of life and I came across many other mushrooms, although not all of them I recognized right away. I like to take pictures and then research to learn more about each one. Learning about the different types of mushrooms is something I really enjoy.

By the end of the day, I felt very satisfied with everything I had found. Pluteus hubergtseorum, angel's wing and meadow hygrophorus were certainly the highlights. I was grateful to have had the opportunity to see them and learn more about them. I was also glad to have spent the day in such a beautiful place, surrounded by nature and tranquility.

I came back tired, but happy. I love the feeling of having spent the day outdoors, exploring and discovering new things. I always learn something new on every expedition, and this one was no exception. I think exploring the fungal flora is an activity that everyone should try at least once. It is a wonderful way to connect with nature and learn more about the world around us. I am already planning my next expedition and can't wait to see what new fungi I will find.

Hola, hoy quiero contarles sobre mi segunda expedición en busca de flora funga en el sur de Chile. Me encanta explorar la naturaleza y descubrir nuevos hongos, y esta vez tuve una experiencia increíble. El sur de Chile es un lugar mágico para los amantes de los hongos. La humedad y la vegetación crean un ambiente perfecto para que crezcan muchas variedades de hongos. Caminé durante horas por senderos llenos de árboles altos y helechos verdes. El aire era fresco y se sentía muy limpio. Me gustaba escuchar el sonido de los pájaros y el crujir de las hojas bajo mis pies.

Después de un rato, vi mi primer hongo del día. Era un Pluteus hubergtseorum. Este hongo es muy bonito, con su sombrero de color marrón claro y sus láminas. Lo observé con detenimiento y tomé varias fotos. Me sentía muy contento de haberlo encontrado tan rapido. Seguí caminando y poco después, encontré otro hongo. Esta vez era un hongo llamado "ala de ángel". Este hongo es muy especial y bastante conocido. Tiene un color blanco muy puro y una forma que realmente parece un ala. Crece en troncos de árboles muertos, y este estaba en un tronco cubierto de musgo. Me agaché para verlo de cerca y también tomé algunas fotos. Me encanta la delicadeza de este hongo y lo hermoso que se ve en el bosque.

La expedición continuó con este grupo de personas con quien elegimos juntarnos a salir en busca de nuevas en donde no solo compartis encontrar especies, sino tambien compartis informacion nueva entre aficionados. Uno de los más interesantes que vi fue el higroforo de los prados. Este hongo es bastante común en los prados y tiene un sombrero de color amarillo pálido. Lo que más me gusta de este hongo es su textura, un poco viscosa, pero muy interesante al tacto. Tomé notas sobre su ubicación y cómo se veía, para poder recordar todos los detalles más tarde.

Mientras avanzaba, nos detuvimos a almorzar. Saqué un sándwich y una botella de agua de mi mochila, y me senté en una roca. Desde ahí, podía ver todo el paisaje y disfrutar del sonido del río cercano. Fue un momento muy tranquilo y reconfortante. Después de comer, me sentí renovada y lista para seguir explorando.

El bosque estaba lleno de vida y me encontré con muchos otros hongos, aunque no todos los reconocí de inmediato. Me gusta tomar fotos y luego investigar para saber más sobre cada uno. Aprender sobre los diferentes tipos de hongos es algo que realmente disfruto.

Al final del día, me sentía muy satisfecho con todo lo que había encontrado. El Pluteus hubergtseorum, el ala de ángel y el higroforo de los prados fueron sin duda los más destacados. Me sentía agradecida por haber tenido la oportunidad de verlos y aprender más sobre ellos. También estaba contento de haber pasado el día en un lugar tan hermoso, rodeado de naturaleza y tranquilidad.

Volví cansado, pero feliz. Me encanta la sensación de haber pasado el día al aire libre, explorando y descubriendo nuevas cosas. Siempre aprendo algo nuevo en cada expedición, y esta no fue la excepción. Pienso que la exploración de la flora funga es una actividad que todos deberían probar al menos una vez. Es una forma maravillosa de conectarse con la naturaleza y aprender más sobre el mundo que nos rodea. Ya estoy planeando mi próxima expedición y no puedo esperar para ver qué nuevos hongos encontraré.
