Not long ago I had the opportunity to join a very touristic excursion which I didn't know about but it was really great. I am not one of those people who likes sailing and that kind of excursions. But the truth is that this catamaran excursion is a real treat. It is very much aimed at international tourism and I quickly realized this because the adventure starts in Puerto Madero. It departs from there in the morning. Once we set sail it goes along the coast, traveling along the Rio de la Plata up to the delta, passing by the entire waterfront, Vicente Lopez, Olivos and San Isidro.

One of the first things I registered was the Yacht Club Argentino. The history of the Club began with the shared use of the cutter "Ariel", by a group of sailing enthusiasts, formed by relatives and friends of Hortensio Aguirre Anchorena, who led them and transmitted his enthusiasm and experience, gained in memorable cruises that took them to Patagonia. This group of enthusiastic sailors, who were joined by members of the ephemeral Boating Society, which was dissolved when a strong storm destroyed its floating material, created the National Yacht Club in mid 1882.

After passing by the Yacht we went through the different points that I mentioned before and making stops there, we went down and with one of the guides of the excursion we went down and they were taking us and telling us different stories of places near the dock, and at the same time emblematic places with history and beautiful of the city.

I remember that after going all along the coast we arrived at Tigre and there the amount of beautiful things to visit is endless. You have the fruit market which is infinitely beautiful and chaotic. Then the narrow streets full of stores, cars everywhere, bars and restaurants with an infinite amount of offer. We went down for those who do not know it's all nice so we walked around after that we had with the tour a meal already agreed in a very nice place near the coast overlooking the river and we stayed to eat there.


When we finished lunch we were offered several things to visit and with the freedom to choose. We only had the condition that we had to be back at a fixed point by 5 pm in order to take the catamaran back. The truth is that with some of them we chose several picturesque places there.

At 17:00 we were all there on the dot because we had 15 minutes of tolerance and if we missed the return we were there and we had to return by train, the trip is very far and it is a hassle when you already have everything paid.
The truth is that it is a very nice experience doing it as I had the opportunity to do it, I highly recommend it.

Hace no mucho tuve la oportunidad de sumarme a una excursión bastante turística la cual desconocía pero sinceramente esta buenisima. Yo no soy de esas personas que le gusta mucho navegar y ese estilo de salida. Pero la verdad es que esta excursión en catamarán la rompe. Está muy apuntada al turismo internacional y de esto me di cuenta rápidamente porque la aventura comienza en Puerto Madero. Sale de allí desde la mañana. Una vez que zarpamos este recorre la costa, emprendiendo viaje por el río de la Plata hasta el delta, pasando por toda la costanera, Vicente Lopez, Olivos y San Isidro.

Una de las primeras cosas que registré fue el Yacht club Argentino. La historia del Club comenzó con el uso compartido del cutter “Ariel”, por un grupo de aficionados a la navegación a vela, formado por parientes y amigos de Hortensio Aguirre Anchorena, quien los lideraba y transmitía su entusiasmo y experiencia, aquilatada en memorables cruceros que los llevaron hasta la Patagonia. Este grupo de entusiastas navegantes, a quienes se les sumaron miembros de la efímera Boating Society, que se disolvió cuando un fuerte temporal destruyó su material flotante, crearon el Yacht Club Nacional, a mediados del año 1882.

Luego de pasar por el Yacht fuimos pasando por los diferentes puntos que les mencione antes y haciendo paradas ahí, bajamos y con una de las guías de la excursión vamos bajando y nos van llevando y contando diferentes historias de lugares cercanos al muelle, y al mismo tiempo lugares emblemáticos con historia y hermosos de la ciudad.

Me acuerdo que después de pasar por toda la costa llegamos al tigre y allí la cantidad de cosas lindas por recorrer son infinitas. Tenes el mercado de frutos que es infinitamente lindo y caótico. Después las callejuelas llenas de comercios, autos por todos lados, bares y restaurantes con una cantidad de oferta infinita. Bajamos para quienes no conocen es todo lindo asique paseamos después de eso teníamos con la excursión una comida ya pactada en un lugar muy lindo cerca bien cerca de la costa con vista al río y nos quedamos a comer ahí.

Cuando terminamos el almuerzo nos ofrecieron varias cosas por visitar y con la libertad de poder elegir. Solamente teníamos la condición que a las 17hs horas teníamos que estar de vuelta en un punto fijo para poder tomar el catamarán de regreso. Lo cierto es que con algunos elegimos varios lugares pintorescos de allí.

A las 17 estamos todos allí bien en punto porque teníamos 15 minutos de tolerancia y si nos perdíamos la vuelta quedamos ahí y teníamos que volver en tren, el viaje es muy lejos y es un embole mas cuando ya lo tenes todo pago.
La verdad es que es una muy linda experiencia haciéndola como tuve la oportunidad de hacerlo se los recontra recomiendo.
