Today I was extremely lucky and I wanted to share it with you because the truth is not wasted. I have many artist friends, and among them several are photographers. Today Sofi asked if I was ready to go for a walk because I had to go to a little place I had found to photograph and the truth is that it was busy, but I told her yes.

I got ready and went to the house in Villa Urquiza. When we arrive at Sofi's house, we greet each other and she tells me: now we have to go to the retreat. Then we took the subway and the bus. When we get to the station, he tells me let's walk down Libertador a few blocks and we arrive.

When he told me like that, I imagined it was in a small museum nearby but no! On the way to that place there was a not very big but very nice building that is next to the train tracks. We enter.

When we entered we were greeted by a man who very kindly invited us in and told us a little about the history of that space. It turns out that it is a building that belongs to the railway lines and at one time it was a building where there were many people working and guards who were on different shifts throughout the day controlling and collaborating with the train headquarters so that the entrances and the exits of all formations enter and exit without accidents. Over time, as everything evolved, it was no longer used and for another time it was a warehouse until it ended up being a garbage dump and was abandoned.

After many years and when the train lines were privatized, private companies, among other spaces, transferred it to the city government and currently it is a space where different cultural events and many private events of all kinds are held. The structure is really very nice and since it is all recycled the place really turned out beautiful and makes you want to take photos.

One part of the place has very beautiful stairs that are still being restored but we turned the place around and went everywhere to enjoy the different spaces and obviously with the authorization of this man who was so kind to us.

From the view you could see the station and you could also see the Villa 31 settlement. We spent a great afternoon with Sofi that we later crowned with a very delicious pizza and a beer that couldn't be more delicious than it was and that was my afternoon of today.

Hoy tuve una suerte enorme y quería compartirla con ustedes porque la verdad no tiene desperdicio. Tengo muchos amigos artistas, y entre ellos varios son fotógrafos. Hoy Sofi, preguntó si estaba al pedo para ir a dar una vuelta porque tenía que ir a un lugarcito que había conseguido para fotografiar y la verdad es que estaba ocupado, pero le dije que si.

Me preparé y me fui para la casa en Villa Urquiza. Al llegar a la casa de Sofi, nos saludamos y me dice: ahora nos tenemos que ir para el retiro. Entonces metimos subte y colectivo. Cuando llegamos a la estación, me dice caminemos por Libertador unas cuadras y llegamos.

Cuando me dijo así, me imaginé que era en un pequeño museo que hay ahí cerca pero no! De camino para ese lugar había un edificio no muy grande pero muy lindo que está al costado de las vías del tren. Entramos.

Cuando entramos nos recibió un hombre que muy amablemente nos invitó a pasar y nos contó un poco la historia de ese espacio. Resulta que es un edificio que pertenece a las líneas del ferrocarril y en un momento fue un edificio en donde había muchas personas trabajando y guardas que estaban en diferentes turnos durante todo el día controlando y colaborando con la central de los trenes para que las entradas y las salidas de todas las formaciones entren y salgan sin accidentes. Con el tiempo como todo fue evolucionando se dejó de usar y durante otra época fue depósito hasta que terminó siendo basurero y quedó abandonado.

Después de muchos años y cuando las líneas de trenes fueron privatizadas las empresas privadas entre otros espacios se lo cedieron al gobierno de la ciudad y actualmente es un espacio en donde se realizan diferentes eventos culturales y muchos eventos privados de todo tipo. La estructura es realmente muy linda y como está toda reciclada realmente quedó hermoso el lugar y dan ganas de sacar fotos.

Una parte del lugar tiene unas escaleras muy hermosas que aún siguen en restauración pero nosotros dimos vuelta el lugar y nos metimos por todos lados para poder disfrutar de los diferentes espacios y obviamente con la autorización de este señor que fue tan gentil con nosotros.

Desde la vista se podía ver la estación y también se podía ver el asentamiento villa 31. Pasamos una tarde genial con sofi que después coronamos con una pizza bien rica y una cerveza que no podia mas de lo rica que estaba y esa fue mi tarde de hoy.
