This weekend was crazy. An atypical weekend full of calories. I went to Mendoza to the house of some friends who were celebrating their anniversary and we have been friends for a long time. So, I had points to change and we went with other friends as well so we could enjoy the reunion.

We had a small delay at the airport but it wasn't too bad. When you are with good company even bad plans go well. So we made time playing cards and drinking mate and that's how it went.

When we arrived the reunion was beautiful. One of the first things we wanted to do was to go and visit a couple of places that the guys had told us they had recently put up where everything was shopping and stuff for the locals. Me and some of the guys hadn't been there in a while so we wanted to see how nice the change and the new things had been.

After having visited this, we went to the parador in front of the river to have a drink and also to see some of the things that had been improved. As most of my friends are gastronomic, we share opinions, we consult each other and it is great because it is from a very sincere and healthy place, so if something is good we say it, and if it is bad we also say it to help, we also chat and discuss opinions, sometimes we agree, sometimes it is difficult, but that's where the good things come from, sharing ideas.

Sunday night we got together for their celebration. We had in mind that it was going to be a more intimate family reunion, but it wasn't. It was more than intimate. It was a little more than intimate. It turns out that the boys wanted to open their resto as a place to dine this year and do it when the season was over so they would have the whole year to sharpen up and make it to next summer without a problem. So without telling us anything the meeting was held there. When we arrived there were about 60 people and the place was closed to us so we could enjoy the first night service.

Everything was a test for the event and there were dishes that were going to be on the menu, others were for testing and others they already knew were just for the event. They also tested new staff and miraculously my friends were very relaxed enjoying everything as if the place was not theirs.

The event was really beautiful and very intimate. Having the mountains in the background and the river was completely beautiful and absolute madness. They are very close and happy and that gave me even more happiness because they are two people that I love very much, we have a friendship where we share a lot of things and they deserve everything. So this weekend I spent it eating, we ended the night with my pants unbuttoned.

Este fin de semana fue una locura. Un fin de semana atípico lleno de calorías. Me fui para Mendoza a la casa de unos amigos que estaban festejando su aniversario y hace mucho tiempo que somos amigos. Entonces, tenía puntos para cambiar y nos fuimos para con otros amigos también para poder disfrutar de la reunión.

Tuvimos una pequeña demora en el aeropuerto pero no fue tan grave. Cuando estas con buena compañía hasta los malos planes salen bien. Así que hicimos tiempo jugando cartas y tomando mate y así salieron.

Cuando llegamos el reencuentro fue hermoso. Una de las primeras cosas que nos dieron ganas de hacer fue ir a conocer un par de lugares que los chicos nos habían contado que habían puesto hace poco en donde todo era compras y pavadas para la gente del pueblo. Yo y algunos de los chicos hacía rato no íbamos para allá a verlos entonces queríamos ver cómo había quedado de lindo ese cambio y lo nuevo.

Después de haber visitado esto, nos fuimos al parador que tiene frente al río a tomar algo y también ver varias cosas que había mejorado. Como somos gastronómicos la mayoría de mis amigos entonces compartimos opiniones, nos consultamos y esta buenisimo porque es desde un lugar re sincero y sano entonces realmente si algo está bueno se dice, y si esta malo tambien se dice para ayudarlo, también charlamos discutimos opiniones que a veces nos ponemos de acuerdo otras se nos hace difícil, pero justamente de ahí salen las cosas buenas de compartir ideas.

El domingo a la noche nos juntamos por su festejo. Teníamos en mente que iba a ser una reunión familiar algo más íntima pero no. Fue un poco más que íntimo. Resulta que los chicos tenían ganas de abrir su resto como lugar para cenar este año y hacerlo cuando se haya terminado la temporada para tener todo el año para afilarse y llegar al próximo verano sin problema. Entonces sin decirnos nada la reunión se hizo ahí. Cuando llegamos había unas 60 personas y el lugar estaba cerrado para nosotros para que podamos disfrutar del primer servicio nocturno.

Todo era prueba para el evento y había platos que iban a quedar en el menú otros son a modo de prueba y otros ya sabían que eran solo por el evento. Probaron también personal nuevo y milagrosamente mis amigos estaban muy relajados disfrutando de todo como si el lugar no fuese de ellos.

El evento fue realmente hermoso y muy intimo. Tener las montañas de fondo y el río era completamente una locura hermosa y absoluta. Ellos están muy unidos y felices y eso me dio aún más felicidad porque son dos personas a quien yo amo mucho, tenemos una amistad en donde compartimos muchas cosas y se merecen todo. Asique este finde me la pase comiendo, la noche la terminamos con el pantalón desabrochado.
