Hello Hive Community!

This is a very special couple whom I love very much and appreciate a lot. They are Secu and Doli. I met them 15 years ago when I was just a kid working for them in an architectural firm as a cadet. They were the owners of the studio and that's how it all started, with time we got to know each other. I always knew that my thing was the kitchen and they knew that but as I worked well and we got to know each other I trusted them and we worked together for a few years. Then I left the studio to start my career as a gastronomic but our bond continues to this day.

Yesterday the boys sent me some pictures from their homes in the sierras. They always had the dream of retiring and going to live away from the city, obviously building their own house. And over the years that wish came true. First they got a place in the middle of the mountains, then all the papers and in all those years they changed their ideas and added new ones and what was going to be a super modern house, became a minimalist house with ancestral techniques and with the technology to be able to feed the whole house with energy and have electricity and gas. They set out to make a house with adobe, full of light and warm like few others. A few days ago I went and I went crazy with love, I did not want to leave and that is what they generate. They are two people who transmit love, who transmit containment and care for you. They started with their house and they did amazing in that project, but as they had bought a very large piece of land for just the two of them, they decided to build a place to keep some animals, and then they wanted to put some cabins further away to have some visitors or if they felt like it, why not, to keep them to give them a minimum income.

Doli is vegan and does not drink alcohol and is an expert in making non-alcoholic drinks that are delicious !

These photos that we are looking at, are a potpourri between the ones I took when I went there and the ones they sent me these days sharing their hands working in their guesthouses. I saw them happy and I plan to go there in the coming months to help them with the house, share some delicious wines, hug them and talk until long hours in the armchair at the entrance that overlooks the mountains and lets you see the sky and makes you feel that you are there close, the feeling is until you can reach out your hand and you can reach out to touch some of them.
