Today we closed the week properly. At work we were under a lot of tension for everything that is happening today. Political and economic chaos. In addition, the challenge of going out to conquer the world so as not to have to cut anything within the company, neither salaries nor employees, let alone earned rights. So since the beginning of the year, we are full with everything we do and the commitment of my team is very good and above all it is very compact, solid and empathetic.

On Monday my boss called me and told me that he wanted to do something to get us all together and show our gratitude for all the effort we are making to support the situation that the company is going through with all that it entails. Then he proposed me to go to a warehouse that the company rents, a huge space where offices and warehouses are rented. At one time it was, Calza, a yeast factory that for some reason that I do not know had to close and a group of people bought, recycled, renovated and began to rent. In this space there is a bar and rest and arrangement with the place to close that day the space for us and so we can sit down to eat and celebrate.

A while ago the luncheon concluded with a thank you for the whole group of my team, and when I say MY team, it is this one that I proudly lead. I left earlier to meet with my boss and take advantage of the visit to meet some links that I did not know and also to have a coffee and align some ideas as well. When we finished I went to the restaurant to see how everything was if anything was missing, but when I arrived the guys there gave me something to drink and invited me to enjoy and see how they put everything together.

The result was better than good. They were arriving and to make everyone relax I welcomed them and my boss with a welcome drink. We settled in and after a while we were all chatting and relaxing and they started inviting us to sit down and we did so to enjoy the amount of delicious food that was on all the tables. There were things for veggies, also for celiacs and for those who have no problem eating anything and eat anything.

The end of this meeting began with a few words telling us that they were very grateful for the effort and the desire to continue working even though they could not increase in relation to what we gave to the company. And when we finished our boss said goodbye to everyone saying that. The company was still getting back on its feet, despite the pressures that the economy of our country is receiving and that all of us who were there today had a salary increase for all of us that we were going to see impacted in the next month and also they gave us a bonus in our bank accounts for the immediacy of the moment.

He thanked us again and left somewhat moved by the joy and the hugs we all gave him. It was really very touching because it was genuine. I am fortunate to work in a small family business, but very committed to us as we are to the company.

Hoy cerramos la semana como corresponde. En el laburo veníamos con mucha tensión para con todo lo que viene hoy en día. Caos político y económico. Además, el desafío de salir a conquistar el mundo para no tener que recortar nada dentro de la empresa, ni sueldos ni empleados y mucho menos derechos ganados. Así que desde que comenzó el año, estamos full con todo lo que hacemos y el compromiso de mi equipo es muy bueno y sobre todo es muy compacto, sólido y empático.

El lunes me habló mi jefe por teléfono y me dijo que quería hacer algo para juntarnos a todos y mostrar en agradecimiento todo el esfuerzo que nosotros estamos haciendo para bancar la situación que la empresa pasa con todo lo que eso conlleva. Entonces me propuso irnos para un depósito que alquila la empresa espacio enorme en donde se alquilan oficinas y depósitos que en su momento fue, Calza, una fábrica de levaduras que por algún motivo que desconozco tuvo que cerrar y un grupo de personas compro, reciclo, reforman y empezó a alquilar. En este espacio hay un bar y resto y arreglo con el lugar para cerrar ese día el espacio para nosotros y así poder sentarnos a comer y festejar.

Hace un rato concluyó el almuerzo en donde se llevó a cabo el agradecimiento para todo el grupo de mi equipo, y cuando digo MI equipo, es este que me toca liderar orgullosamente. Me fui mas temprano para verme con mi jefe y aprovechar la visita para conocer algunos eslabones que no conocía y además para tomarnos un café y alinear algunas ideas también. Cuando terminamos me fui para el restaurante a ver como estaba todo si hacía falta algo, pero cuando llegué los chicos de ahí me dieron algo para tomar y me invitaron a disfrutar y ver cómo armaban todo.

El resultado fue mejor que bueno. Fueron llegando y para que todos se relajen los fui recibiendo junto con mi jefe con un traguito de bienvenida. Nos fuimos acomodando y al rato estábamos todos los convocados charlando. y relajandonos nos empezaron a invitar a sentarnos y lo fuimos haciendo para disfrutar de la cantidad de comida tan rica que había en todas las mesas. Había cosas para veggies también para celíacos y para los que no tienen problema de comer nada y comer cualquier cosa.

El final de esta reunión empezó con unas palabras diciéndonos que estaban muy agradecidos por el esfuerzo y las ganas de seguir laburando a pesar de que no pudieron aumentar en relación con lo que le dimos a la empresa. Y cuando terminamos nuestro jefe se despidió de todos diciendo que. La empresa se volvió a acomodar aun, a pesar de las presiones que la economía de nuestro país está recibiendo y que todos los que estábamos ahí presentes teníamos hoy aumento de sueldo para todos que lo íbamos a ver impactado en el próximo mes y además nos dieron un bono en nuestras cuentas bancarias para la inmediatez del momento.

Nos volvió a agradecer y se fue un tanto emocionado por la alegría y los abrazos que le dimos todos. Fue realmente muy emocionante porque fue genuino. Tengo la suerte de trabajar en una empresa pequeña familiar, pero muy comprometida con nosotros al igual que nosotros estamos con la empresa.
