When the nooks and crannies are as powerful as a whole city, that's when you realize that it's the little things that count. In a remote corner of the world there is a place called Powis Castle.

It is a medieval castle located near the town of Welshpool in Powys, in the county of Montgomery in Wales. Residence of the Earl of Powis, and is famous in the UK for its beautiful and extensive gardens. Owned by the British National Trust, its official name is Powis Castle & Garden.
It is part of one of the most representative tourist enclaves of the interior of the country. I stumbled upon it by chance when I was arriving at my friend's house. I was visiting the UK and being that we live so far away I couldn't not travel and visit it because I would be a bad friend not to go there.

It turned out that it is not a small castle, but it is a big castle that for an ignorant tourist of Wales it is easy not to know about it. The truth is that it is an ancient castle where entire monarchies lived there. Stories of love, heartbreak, politics, betrayals and swindles took place there. When I discovered it I wanted to know more about it so I decided to find out where to buy tickets and visit it.

The day of the visit I could not get out of my astonishment to discover that such a beauty was hidden there for me. A recycled palace where every corner was beautifully cared for and painted. The contrasts of the colors were so rare and so meaningful to me in their uniqueness that beyond a symbolic representation with the colors or the arrangements, their contrasts and beauty were really striking. There were no simple, eye-friendly pastels. There were strident and contrasting colors. Its parks are an infinite and endless paradise that disappears into the horizon. The delicately manicured spaces denote a level of refinement and elegance that in these corners of the world can exist.

The large windowed ceilings and crystal chandeliers in every corner showed level and refinement. In addition to social status, in its great halls there were many political parties and those that were more social always had behind their laughter and laughter many ulterior motives where everything had a plot of business and corruption.

Cuando los rincones son tan poderosos como todo una ciudad entonces es cuando te das cuenta que los pequeños detalles, son los que cuentan. En un rincón remoto del mundo hay un lugar que se llama Powis Castle.

Es un castillo medieval ubicado cerca de la localidad de Welshpool en Powys, en el condado de Montgomery en Gales. Residencia del conde de Powis, y es famoso en el Reino Unido por sus bellos y extensos jardines. Propiedad del National Trust británico, su nombre oficial es Powis Castle & Garden.
Forma parte de uno de los enclaves turísticos más representativos del interior del país. Caí de casualidad cuando estaba llegando a la casa de mi amigo. Yo estaba de visita en Reino unido y siendo que vivimos tan lejos no podría no viajar y visitarlo porque sería un mal amigo no ir para allá.

Resultó que no es un pequeño Castillo, sino que es un gran castillo que para un turista ignorante de Gales es fácil no saber de él. Lo cierto es que es un castillo antiquísimo en donde monarquías enteras vivieron allí. Historias de amor, desamor, política, traiciones y estafas se gestaron allí. Cuando lo descubrí quise saber mas de el asique decidi averiguar donde comprar tickets y visitarlo.

El día de la visita no podía salir de mi asombro al descubrir que semejante belleza se encontraba allí escondida para mi. Un palazo reciclado en donde cada rincón estaba hermosamente cuidado y pintado. Los contrastes de los colores eran tan raros y tan significativos para mi en lo singular que más allá de una representación simbólica con los colores o los arreglos eran realmente impactantes sus contrastes y su belleza. No había colores pasteles simples y amigables a los ojos. Había colores estridentes y contrastantes. Sus parques son un paraíso infinito e interminable que se pierde en el horizonte. Los espacios tan delicadamente cuidados denotan un nivel de refinamiento y elegancia que en estos rincones del mundo pueden existir.

Los techos de ventanales y las arañas de cristal en todos los rincones mostraban nivel y refinamiento. Además de estatus social. en sus grandes salones se daban grandes fiestas muchas políticas y las que eran más sociales siempre tenían detrás de sus risas y carcajadas muchas segundas intenciones en donde todo tenía un tramado de negocios y corrupción.

La vegetación combinada en sus pasillos y en cada rincón de la casa que daba a las partes al aire libre eran combinadas exquisitamente haciéndote sentir en lugares cálidos durante todo el recorrido y eso es sinceramente para quienes saben de decoración un poc completo generar esos climas con espacios tan grandes y tan fríos.

Fue un deleite de placer visual que me sirvió como disparador de muchas imágenes visuales y de muchos procesos creativos nuevos.
