Yesterday was cool, humid, windy and it was about to rain but I had a date with the city that I could not miss and it had not been called off either. My appointment was at EL FARO. They call it that because of its beautiful dome on the top of a building, but in reality it is not a lighthouse like the ones on the coasts that we all know.

The evening takes place at night because the idea is to see different parts of the city at night. Historical buildings that tell stories, basically it's an excursion. But I didn't want to do the whole experience because I already knew it, I wanted to go to this last point which was where it ended and the place that was not in the activity before and now it is the last and new place to visit.

But a particularity happens in this last point of the excursion and when we arrived they were waiting for us there with some chairs to sit and have a drink and there were some wines and some non-carbonated drinks for those who do not drink alcohol, with the intention of generating an atmosphere like a bar where you can stay a while to have a complimentary drink and then those who wanted could continue drinking and paying for the rest. The truth is that the plan and the proposal seemed great, there were several tourists, but what surprised me was that there were many Argentines enjoying the experience.

We were very lucky because the weather was with us until the end or at least until the end that I wanted to give it, because after a couple of hours on the terrace I left and there were people who stayed chatting and drinking and maybe they got caught in the water. But for at least two hours of that time I could enjoy without problems chatting with very nice people with whom I laughed a lot and we told very funny anecdotes. There were some Europeans who were visiting and wanted to come and visit this place because several friends had told them about the city and wanted to see the possibility of buying something in Buenos Aires and have a nest here to come for vacation and maybe so that their children when they are a little older can come and have an experience of a few years here so they can get to know this kind of life.

I found it very crazy that they think that the experience of living in this kind of jungle can be enriching and at the same time I loved it because it actually makes a lot of sense. They admire a lot of things about us even though they know our country is in the shit. They said very sincere and nice things about us like our naturalness to face a change of course and adapt easily, as well as how supportive and kind we are to people. The truth is that they gave me a look about us that I didn't know they had and I left with a great pride for our people.
I hope we can be a better country like this, besides being those values that I mentioned yesterday, we have a prosperous country and a more peaceful life for everyone.

Ayer a la noche era la peor noche para hacer pero se transformó en una gran noche con una de las vistas más bonitas de la ciudad y rodeado de gente linda y muy agradable.

Ayer estaba fresco, húmedo, ventoso y estaba por llover pero yo tenía una cita con la ciudad que no me podía perder y tampoco se había suspendido. Mi cita fue en EL FARO. Le dicen así por su cúpula hermosa que tiene en la punta de un edificio, pero en realidad no es un faro de los que están en las costas y todos conocemos.

La velada transcurre por la noche porque la idea es ver diferentes lugares de la ciudad de noche. Edificios históricos que cuentan historias, básicamente es una excursión. Pero yo no quería hacer toda la experiencia porque ya la conocía, quería ir a este último punto que era donde terminaba y el lugar que no estaba en la actividad antes y ahora es el último y nuevo sitio que se visita.

Pero una particularidad acontece en este último punto de la excursión y es que cuando llegamos nos esperaban ahí con unas sillas para poder sentarse a tomar algo y había algunos vinos y alguna bebida sin gas para quienes no toman alcohol, con la intención de generar un clima como de bar en donde se puedan quedar un rato a tomar una copa de cortesía y después quienes quisieran podían seguir tomando ya pagando por el resto. La verdad el plan y la propuesta me parecieron geniales, había varios turistas, pero lo que me sorprendió es que había muchos argentinos disfrutando de la experiencia.

Tuvimos mucha suerte porque el clima nos acompañó hasta el final o al menos hasta el final que yo le quise dar, porque después de un par de horas en la terraza me fui y hubo gente que se quedó charlando y bebiendo y quizás a ellos los llegó a agarrar el agua. Pero durante al menos dos horas de ese tiempo pude disfrutar sin problemas charlando con gente muy agradable con quien me reí mucho y nos contamos anécdotas muy graciosas. Había unos europeos que estaban de visita y querían venir a conocer este lugar porque varios amigos les habían contado de la ciudad y quería ver la posibilidad de comprar algo en Buenos Aires y tener un nido aca para venir a vacacionar y para tal vez para que sus hijos cuando sean un poco más grandes puedan venir a tener una experiencia de unos años acá para que conozcan este tipo de vida.

Me resultó muy loco que ellos piensen que la experiencia de vivir en esta especie de jungla puede ser enriquecedora y al mismo tiempo me encantó porque de hecho tiene mucho sentido. Admiran muchas cosas de nosotros aunque sepan que nuestro país está en la mierda. Dijeron cosas muy sinceras y agradables sobre nosotros como nuestra naturalidad para afrontar un cambio de rumbo y adaptarnos con facilidad, así también como lo solidarios y amables que somos con las personas. La verdad me dieron una mirada sobre nosotros que no sabia que tenian y me fui con un orgullo muy grande por nuestro pueblo.
Ojalá podamos ser mejor pais asi, ademas de ser esos valores que mencionaba ayer tenemos un país prospero y vivir más tranquilo para todos.
