Have you ever thought of being in the neighborhood where the Simpsons lived? Of being with one of those characters or dreaming of being with them?....

Well this is the fulfilled dream of a person who is reaching 40 and was raised among other things with the yellow-skinned friends, so magical and so wise that I not only grew up with them but I learned with them and from them. The Simpsons whether you like it or not today if you watch an old episode it still goes down the line of current life. They are completely contemporary and still current. The Simpsons for those who don't know are just another family in a neighborhood in the United States, consisting of a baby (Maggie), a boy and a girl (Bart and Lisa) and the responsible adults (Homer and Marge).

This family shows their intimacy where you can see the miseries of all, he is a man with a very basic education and ends up working in a nuclear plant. He is lucky enough to fall in love with an intelligent and very decent woman who stays at home and takes care of the family and has to deal with all of them. Even with Homer, who is a screw-up machine and it's practically as if he has a fourth child.

Bart is a pre-teen boy who keeps getting into the worst and dumbest trouble and Lisa is a completely educated girl and a lover of knowledge of all kinds. Socialist and feminist with great values and always indoctrinating her father with knowledge. Around her life she has characters that are beautiful and of all kinds.

Homer has problems with alcohol and whenever he can he goes to the bar to drink with his bar friends and co-workers where things always happen and there appear incredible characters like Moe and Barney, protagonists of several chapters and many anecdotes.

Now that you have a little more idea about what I was talking about these pictures are from my family trip when we went to Disney. I was all grown up and not knowing about it, we went to see the Simpsons park where we were able to take pictures with the characters, in the house, buy a lot of merchandise and get into their world as if we were really there.

The experience was really great and a bit melancholic but honestly one that I am grateful to have shared with the family. If you ever get the chance and still haven't seen that cartoon do so take the time to watch any episode you want, I'm sure you'll like it.

Alguna vez pensaste en estar en el barrio donde vivían los Simpsons? De estar con alguno de esos personajes o soñar con estar con ellos?...

Bueno este es el sueño cumplido de una persona que está llegando a los 40 y se crió entre otras cosas con los amigos de piel amarilla, tan mágicos y tan sabios que no sólo crecí con ellos sino que aprendí con ellos y de ellos. Los Simpson te guste o no hoy en día si miras un viejo capítulo sigue bajando línea de la vida actual. Son completamente contemporáneos y siguen siendo actuales. Los Simpson para quienes no conocen son una familia más de un barrio de los Estados Unidos, constituida por un bebe (Maggie), un varón y una mujer (Bart y Lisa) y los adultos responsables (Homero y Marge).

Esta familia muestra su intimidad en donde se ven las miserias de todos, él es un hombre con una educación muy básica y termina trabajando en una planta nuclear. Tiene la suerte de enamorarse y que se enamore de él una mujer inteligente y muy decente la cual se queda en su casa haciéndose cargo de la familia y tiene que lidiar con todos ellos. Incluso con Homero, que es una máquina de hacer cagadas y es prácticamente como si tuviera un cuarto hijo.

Bart es un niño, pre adolecente que se la pasa metiéndose en problemas de los peores y de los más tontos y Lisa es una niña completamente instruida y amante de el saber de todo tipo. Socialista y feminista con grandes valores y siempre adoctricnando a su padre desde el saber. Alrededor de su vida tiene personajes que son hermosos y de todo tipo.

Homero tiene problemas con el alcohol y siempre que puede se va para el bar a tomar con sus amigos de bar y compañeros de trabajo en donde siempre pasan cosas y allí aparecen personajes increíbles como Moe y Barney protagonistas de varios capítulos y muchas anécdotas.

Ahora que tiene un poco más de idea sobre qué estaba hablando estas fotos, son de mi viaje familiar cuando fuimos a Disney. Yo ya grande y sin saber de la existencia, fuimos a ver el parque de Los Simpson en donde pudimos sacarnos fotos con los personajes, en la casa, comprarnos un montón de merch y meternos en su mundo como si verdaderamente estuviéramos allí.

La experiencia fue realmente muy buena y un poco melancólica pero sinceramente una que agradezco haber compartido con la familia. Si alguna vez tienes la posibilidad y aun no viste ese dibujo animado hacerlo tómate el tiempo de ver un capítulo cualquiera que quieras, estoy seguro que te va a gustar.
