Made in His Image - Vibrations in the Ether

Part of ThePlan

Good morning. Before we talk about yet another aspect of God's plan regarding humankind, I will try to cover some of the facts that are backed up by the things He wrote in His Word. We are His children and we are fearfully and wonderfully made in His image.

Genesis 1:26

“Then God said: ‘Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness, and let them have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and the domestic animals and all the earth and every creeping animal that is moving on the earth.’”

As God has dominion over everything, He made us to have dominion over the earth, you might say that he gave us the earth. Then, of course, we lost it through disobedience. I am not sure if I will get into that aspect in this post or not.

So besides dominion, what other attributes do we still have, having been made in the image of God? We have a soul which is spirit and a physical body which acts in the physical. God's Son came to Earth and has a physical body. God is creative, having created everything. Human beings are creative as well, mostly creating things as concepts in our minds, and sometimes we work with our hands to make things.

We love people and as parents, we love our children. We also discipline them when we have to. As a matter of fact, I think parenting is a pretty strong parallel that we have with God. Him and us. We and our children.

All of that said, there is something that prompted me to write this post. God spoke the universe into existence. I believe there is much evidence that a bit of that attribute was put into us as well. This is one of the main points I will be talking about in this post.

There is something that Yeshua (Jesus) said when he was walking the earth and teaching...

Matthew 21:18-19

“In the morning, as Jesus was returning to the city, He was hungry. Seeing a fig tree by the road, He went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. ‘May you never bear fruit again!’ He said. And immediately the tree withered.”

And...

Matthew 21:21

And Jesus answered them, “Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen."

It would appear that we will be speaking to things and they will listen.

I will not go to the entire Bible and find examples (there are too many) of God speaking to things as he creates them or Yeshua speaking to things and doing miracles, or even of prophets and what they had done. But it would be worth each of us going through all of Genesis and looking for things that were made and the way God spoke to them so that they would be made.

Another thing that goes with this topic, and it was also what prompted me to write this, is how Yeshua spoke, the way he spoke, to whom he spoke and to what he spoke. It is as if He knew the power of His words. Then there were the things that you did not find Him saying. There are many stories about Him walking with His talmidim (disciples) and they were talking among themselves and even about their master, while Yeshua was not saying a thing. "Then they asked Him, 'Master...'"

It was as if He was always in deep thought or just not very talkative. As you read, you may notice it. I am saying that He was not very big on joking around or throwing around idle words. As a matter of fact, I can think of instances where He spoke about how we should not speak idle words. You may remember Him saying "let your yes be yes, and your no simply be no."

I could dig some of those up and put them here, but this is more about the concepts that I'm talking about. I wanted to present a foundation of proven fact that we can all agree on. I'm going somewhere with all of this..

I'm on a trajectory here to enumerate a very narrow aspect of God's vocal attributes; that He spoke things into existence, that we are supposed to speak to things like mountains, that idle words do not benefit us, and that we share some attributes of God, being that we are made in His image.

If you have done any amount of reading in the Bible, or even attended church and heard someone preach about certain chapters or verses in the Bible, some of this will be familiar to you, and we could probably come to an agreement that what I have stated so far is in line with @theplan that our Creator has for us. That what we say matters because our voices echo out into the spiritual realm and can effect change on things, and it is usually not instant.

Most of the time, you speak something with faith, then you "take a leap of faith" and start moving in the direction of what you have just declared. That is often the case in the Bible as well. He healed the leper and told him to (move), "go wash and show yourself to the priest." and he did, and was healed. We are talking about our words, how we use them and now we can accidentally call doubt and calamity into our lives.

The rest of this post will be related to what I have said so far. Let's look at the above as "provable" or, at the very least, things that we can agree on based on the Bible. The below is something I have felt in my spirit since I was a child but did not know how to express it. I have only just been able to think about putting it into words now that I'm an adult in an experienced father.

Discovering Our Words and Their Impact

Just as God gave every human two arms and two legs, a voice, intelligence, dreams and aspirations, as well as a creative side, any attributes that we are talking about would be given to every single human, not just believers. If every human has a voice, then every human, with faith like a mustard seed, could speak and those vocal vibrations could have an impact on something here on earth. More on that below.

For quite some time, I have heard of and maybe even listen to some gurus, self-help seminar hosts, and most recently, people who are pushing the secrets to manifesting riches, fame, success, etc.. Some of that stuff works you know! It hasn't for me but I have seen others do it. Those kinds of ideas are practiced and they do not require any kind of religious affiliation.

Still on that narrow line of thought related to speaking things into existence, speaking healing upon a person, or attracting money, you know, the vocal attributes of our creator. I'm starting to think that humanity has recently discovered that they do have power within the words they use. Words can impact our surroundings and our destiny to a certain extent, at least in the short term. If it were not so, then people would not be able to manifest anything using their words. That said, I am not talking about the spiritual gifts that come upon us through the Holy Spirit. I'm trying to stay with what we have evidently been given by the Creator, just like He gave us all arms, legs, tongues, ears, and a voice box.

According to the verse above, faith is involved even if it is just faith the size of a mustard seed. If you do not doubt, you can speak to the mountain and tell it what to do. Faith is also involved in some of this new, trending, manifestation kick that is all around us. The person who has no knowledge of God still has to envision what they are looking to manifest and they have to keep themselves from doubting. For that reason I think that this is actually something that humanity is discovering, rather than something that has been bestowed only upon someone who prays, and is religious.

What I'm talking about here is a bit like the hypochondriac. He hears the symptoms of a disease and manifests the sickness in his body because he has experienced some of the symptoms and believes what the website or video he saw said. With that evidence, the experience on the video and assuming the information is true, he believes he has the disease. The manifestation ends up bringing more symptoms and likely a hospital visit.

Everything at the top of this post is based on the word of God and things that are Creator and His Son have said to us. Conversely, the second part of this post is based on that, plus some observable realities that I have seen in life and recent trends that seem to have something to them. All of this is all still within a very narrow scope, that of "speaking". I am not including anything related to prayer because that brings God into the picture. I will be talking about society as a whole, so I want to limit this part of it to the discoveries made by man about the nature of human beings, aside from the really powerful things that happen in the life of a believer. The scope of this part of post is strictly limited to what humans can do, the abilities we all had when we were born. The ability to pick something up, put it down, or in this case study, to speak affirmation or condemnation (with certainty) and see things happen because of our words.

I have noticed patterns in my life, specifically "bad luck" though I do not believe in luck. The patterns have played out over and over to the point where I say things like, "It is starting again" or "I know what will happen next." One of the worst ones is (in the midst of a series of really bad circumstances, "That is the story of my life." which may be calling for that very thing to happen again in the future. I am trying to control the urge to state the obvious recently and it is working. There is less of that kind of thing happening and if it does, it is less often.

Others Using Our Words as Their Tools

If what I have said so far makes sense to you, this next part moves into another possibility which is based on all that I have said so
far. What if...?

Let's start with a familiar topic that I am sure many of you have heard of. The Simpsons is a popular show. I have been a fan since it was a thirty second blurb before commercial breaks on the Tracey Ullman show. Now you know how old I am. Over the years, the show has predicted many events, or at least alluded to them. There was 911 and Trump becoming president to name just a couple. The show has fans world-wide and some places even have a channel that airs 24/7 Simpsons.

One more example would be a popular movie that comes out and everyone goes to see it on the day of its release. Then people start talking about it with their friends and at the 'water cooler' at work. All that chatter for weeks or months (even years when it is seen again on Netflix and watched again for nostalgia).

What if, intentionally or unintentionally, the voices of all those people speaking to each other, plus all the practice and takes that the actors did while making the movie, build up in the 'ether' and manifest, even if it is years later. What if the power of what we say gets magnified to the extent that "the thing" happens in real life? That is a big 'what if' but that is what I felt when I was a child. that somehow, like the democratic voting system, all of humanity believing in a common thing causes it to become reality, or "come to life." Maybe even spoken into existence.

The only other explanation for all of the predictions made by the Simpsons' creators coming true would be that they have a time machine and went into the future and then simply wrote about what they saw.

Which possibility seems more out there or crazy? The word "coincidence" just doesn't cut it as the uncanny predictions become too numerous. Here is another 'what if' - if nobody had seen the Simpsons episode of the twin towers, or any other of the hundreds of predictive events they have made, would they have happened?

Finally, what if broadcasters were to get in line with one another and push certain stories. Everyone watches the news, thirty minutes of the "top stories" of the day. That is the way it has been my whole life at least. What if they concentrate on one negative story and everyone talks about it ad nauseam, and what if that 'talk' effects change on society for a time? That would be one way to get the entire population of a city or country on the same page for a time. What worries me about that is that those that would do that may be using us and our unconscious ability of 'speaking things into existence' to accomplish plans, to enact a certain law, referendum, or for a vote to go a certain way. In other words, we become tools to achieve an end - not our own preference (if we had not watched the news).

Where I live, there are stories of killings and robberies. Many people I know live in fear and are startled easily, yet over 25 years I have never been robbed. I see the fear in their eyes as they walk on the sidewalks. They startle easily, lets say I am behind someone and we are both heading toward the entrance of a supermarket, if they do not hear me behind them, they jump when they realise that I am there. It is almost at a level of paranoia. Women tend to clutch their purses in the streets. Maybe it is just me, but I do not see all the criminals that they imagine.

Lately, I am trying to control idle words even when joking about something. I have had some success in not talking about past woes in order to break the cycle I spoke of earlier. I speak of good possibilities rather than speaking about past failures. That sure beats proclaiming that negative things always happen like the time (fill in the blank).

A bit more about what came to me in my early teens. I was attending a Catholic School. When I came to the realization that there are other religions like Buddhists, Muslims, Hindus, etc. I questioned my religion a bit. I wondered if some sort of 'faith vote' would happen over the ages and whichever one had the most followers putting their faith energy into a thing would cause that god to win, or something like that. I didn't want you to think that all of the above had stemmed from a child's mind. The idea for this post just made me think of that time when I had not read anything, I was just curious as to why there were so many different beliefs, is all.

I believe that God gave us these wonderful bodies and minds, and He wants to see what we do with them. I mentioned a parallel above - A father gives Legos to his kids and wants to see what they will build with them. Back to God, He left a lot of our inner workings to be discovered, we are discovering the impact of our vocal resonance, and He wants to see what we do with it. What will we create? What impact will each of us have on our world? How much will we love our neighbor as we love ourselves.
