The language of ivrit ( עברית ) Exodus 4, Post #3
Welcome to my Hebrew reading & language series.
The first part of this post will deal with why I am posting a day early, read on.
We are at a very special time of the year when all of Israel is celebrating Rosh Hashana. The holiday has become routine and has been affixed to one calendar date, last evening.
According to my reading, the holiday is called Yom Teruah and it supposed to occur "in the twinkling of an eye" sometime during the course of yesterday through Sunday. It is also known by its references in scripture. One particularly awesome person said, "Nobody knows the day or the hour..." when asked as to the timing of His return to gather his church. If that rings any bells for you, then you should check your relationship with Yeshua and see if you are lacking.
It is thought that these two quotes above, which have everything to do with the return of The King, are a clue to the "season" in which He will return.
The start of Yom Teruah starts only after the sighting of the new moon and only when the clouds are not obscuring our view of it. The moon's sliver was not visible yesterday, it may or may not be sighted today, tomorrow may be cloudy, and so forth. For that reason, nobody really knows when the holiday will begin but when it does, we will have a shabbat, a day of rest. I do not work (and that means posting too) on Shabbat so I am putting this post out now, well before the moon is sighted here or in Yerushalaim (Jerusalem).
If you want to know when "the twinkling of and eye" that Yeshua referred to is happening, wait for the beginning of the trumpet blasts in the Holy Land. I believe that God will as'feynu (gather us up) at the final trumpet blast or "the last trump" one of these years and my belief carries many references to that fact. I hope to meet you all there!
You can always check what is happening in Yerushalaim by watching the live stream 24/7/365 The calendar holiday ended an hour ago. They also blow trumpets for the secularized version but many, like me, celebrate the scriptural holiday.
####Exodus 4:10-17
The reading for today.
Today, we see the last part of the meeting between Moshe (Moses) and the Creator discussing Moshe going to Mitsraim (Egypt). He is telling God that he cannot speak well and asking if the Almighty would just send someone else.
If it seems like this topic is going on for much too long, you are not alone. The Creator became angry when, after showing miracles to Moshe and giving him strategies for overcoming the unbelief he may encounter, Moshe tried to back out and stay home. Yet God gave him Aharon (Aaron) and told him to use the mouth of Aharon to do the talking. I think this will close the question as to whether or no Moshe will do what God asks of him.

But Moses said to the Lord, "Oh, my Lord, I am not eloquent, either in the past or since you have spoken to your servant, but I am slow of speech and of tongue." Then the Lord said to him, "Who has made man's mouth? Who makes him mute, or deaf, or seeing, or blind? Is it not I, the Lord? Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall speak." But he said, "Oh, my Lord, please send someone else." Then the anger of the Lord was kindled against Moses and he said, "Is there not Aaron, your brother, the Levite? I know that he can speak well. Behold, he is coming out to meet you, and when he sees you, he will be glad in his heart. You shall speak to him and put the words in his mouth, and I will be with your mouth and with his mouth and will teach you both what to do. He shall speak for you to the people, and he shall be your mouth, and you shall be as God to him. And take in your hand this staff, with which you shall do the signs."
